Bulletproof Army...much respect!
Interview
This is part of the reason i even started this blog, to showcase real JA artist on the grind especially those of us doing Hip Hop which is still underground reguardless of the fact that we are talented individuals.

Thanks!
Thank you for supporting my RE-mixtape Jay-Z x Bob Marley "Young Roc Rebels". I appreciate that, the downloads keep rising (which is great). This project is a warm up for a much more intricate mixtape. I'll explain later, but for now let me get back to this paper (gimme a break, I thought the Jay-Z reference was relevant).
You know its JLA.

Mixtape: Kariuki "Bun & Cheese & Box Milk"
You know me already (well if you don't there is my bio in the right column). So as a Jamaican Rapper i feel good to drop this on my blog to enlighten you all with another talented JA Mc by the name of Kariuki. You might have seen/heard him on that video with Konshens "TMMX (This Means Money Remix)" which feats yet another JA Mc, Jounia Skyy (get used to rap JA because there are many of us coming up) and you might have seen his video "Who Shall I Fear" on RETV or HYPE TV. Well, here is his mixtape, which features both songs that I have mentioned before as well as an interesting take on Linkin Park's "In The End". Just download it...stop reading...download.

JLA Mewzik (ME) - "Actionz"
[Short Animated Music Video]
Well those of you who didn't see it "hear" it is. This version of the song will not be on my overly delayed mixtape, Tropical Depression. The final version will be much different. Speaking of TP, well i have some extremely important news concerning that will tell you soon. Enjoy.

Jovi Rockwell "Killin' Dem"
Don't ever stereotype Jamaican Music. This should prove it. Different yet, "krazi".
Jovi Rockwell is one of our own, who venture outside of the typical Dancehall format but still remains revelant. Underestimated but undeniably talented.
You probably recognize her from her duet with Mr.Vegas "You're Gonna Need Me". Well this JA songbird sprouts her wings and lets go on this one.
Off her upcoming mixtape "Physco Theraphy", which is dropping October 19th

Rap in JAMAICA
Well, as a rapper in JA, i know how hard it is to felt accepted (you see that, it sounds like some disease or something). So when I saw this video,
TMMX (This Means Money Remix) - Konshens feat Kariuki & Jounia Skyy
I felt good because at least its slowly coming up.
Anyway, even Bob Marley wasn't immediately accepted by the radio.
"I know that its coming I just hope that I'm alive for it"
-Drake, "Successful" feat. Trey Songz

KiD CuDi-Pursuit Of Happiness (feat. Ratatat) (Late Show With David Letterman)
This is the kind of music I want to make. Kid Cudi is just different, so much that people are confused if he is a rapper or a singer...you can figure it out.
Off his Debut album "Man on the Moon: The END of Day". If you haven't heard it you need to, trust me, just make sure that you open your mind first.
Kano Rock N Roller
One of my favorite UK artists right now. This is such a crazy video. Its just different but not too different. If you don't know Kano, Google Him..like,now. Just in case youn doubt him check this:
Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Eminem "Forever"
Em's flow was just crazy on this one.Drake killed the track, as usual, trust me Drizzy is the future.Kanye and Lil Wayne went in as well. Overall, this is just epic.
